- Guaranteed participation in PYDF 2022 Festival- one or both weekends
- Submission of up to two pieces to be considered for one or both performances
- Video and Photo Documentation-(New Addition!)
Directors will be sent Video and Photo links to their piece/s to distribute to students

How To Apply: Directors
All you have to do to apply is fill out the application form and submit the $40 application fee. Make sure to include a sample of a recent performance with your application. You can do this by including a link via YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, or Dropbox. It’s best to include a video of the piece you intend to perform at the festival or one of a similar genre. Don’t worry if the piece is still in rehearsal stages! Our panel will look at dancer’s technique, the caliber of choreography, genre, and the performance quality. Please note that all performance pieces must be less than 5 minutes and all performing students must be between the ages of 12-18 years at the time of the festival. You may submit up to two pieces for review.
Please submit the application fee either online or mail a check made out to Philadelphia Youth Dance Fest. Application(s) and payment(s) are due by November 1, 2021 and companies will be notified of their acceptance by November 30, 2021.

Student Participation Information:
Each dancer must pay a $75.00 participation fee. This fee includes the following highlights of the festival:
- Master classes, each taught by inspiring teachers that will be fresh faces for the dancers
- Professional Performance Opportunity
- Custom Designed 2022 PYDF T-Shirt ( New Addition!)
- Scholarship Opportunities for Summer Dance Study
- Full ticket management and a box office (Parents, family, and friends are welcome to purchase tickets to the show!)
- Pictures of your company’s performance that will be available to download after the festival
- Access to professional video documentation- Directors will be sent a link with your company's performance
- Press and marketing for the event
- A chance to see new and different styles of dance
- The opportunity to meet, dance, and perform with other young dancers of diverse backgrounds
