The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur

The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur, an independent private Catholic school located in Villanova, established its dance program in 2004. For the past 18 years, Director Pamela Devenney along with the school's administration has supported the growth of the dance curriculum and its dance department. The Academy's 6-12th grade dance program offers dance to all interested students with varying degrees of dance experience. Both the middle and upper school dance companies are a select group of dancers that participate in a yearly audition. The dance company members study dance as a major part of their academic day. Dancers in both companies have the opportunity to perform on campus and in the area. The upper school dance members have attended and performed at both the Regional and National High School Dance Festivals. Whether a student has been dancing for years or is a beginner, there is a dance class for Notre Dame student!
Ascend Dance Center

Ascend Dance Center, located in Warminster, Pennsylvania, provides a dance education program and performance company that caters to the individual child and their needs. Using a developmental approach to dance and child growth, we enable all of our students to learn and grow at their own pace, in their own time. With 11 years of experience in the area (previously known as New Dance Workshop Jamison and New Dance Workshop Hartsville), we are thrilled to continue fostering determination, self-expression, confidence, and friendship through our new name and programming. As a non-competitive company, we pride ourselves on our technical training and performance quality technique. Our teachers are certified in education, child development, and dance therapy, with a strong dance background and certification to ensure the proper training and growth for every child. We're community based, and continue to love and provide for our community while cultivating our classes, dance companies, and their performances around the area. As a studio, we're excited to still be bringing happiness, art, and creative expression to our communities.
Balance Dance Junior Company

Balance Dance Junior Company offers students the opportunity to explore movement through collaboration and creativity as they grow in confidence, self-esteem, and discipline. Junior Company members are ambassadors of love, dance, and artistic expression. Inclusivity, diversity, and respect for one another are some of our most important guiding principles. Students are empowered through movement to find their own voice as they also celebrate the voice of others. Dancers in the company perform throughout the year at dance festivals and public events in multiple performance venues. Company members have been selected for notable awards and programs including a 2020 PALCS scholarship winner, the Alvin Ailey Summer Dance Intensive, the Broadway Dance Center Junior Training Program, and study in the dance program at Temple University.
Bedford Dance Center

Bedford Dance Center in Bedford, NH was founded in 1994 by Karen Pariseau. The Bedford Dance Center Ensemble is designed for serious dancers who are looking for professional training and unique performance opportunities. Since its inception in 2014, the Ensemble has been revered for its professional quality work for youth dancers, and invited to perform at shows across the country. Lead by Director Melissa Teixeira, performances have included the NYC Dance Arts Festival, Harvard Square Mayfair, Southern Vermont Dance Festival, Disney World, Philadelphia Youth Dance Festival and more.
Berks Ballet Theatre

Berks Ballet Theatre Kelly Barber, Artistic Director Nathan Bland, Ballet Master/Resident Choreographer
Berks Ballet Theatre, located in Reading, PA is celebrating its 46th season and continues to bring the highest quality performances to Berks County audiences under the Artistic Direction of Kelly Barber with Ballet Master & Resident Choreographer, Nathan Bland. Berks Ballet Theatre is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 pre-professional ballet company whose primary purpose is to provide serious dancers the best possible forum of training and performance in classical and contemporary dance in Southeastern Pennsylvania. BBT was founded by Carol Ennis in 1976 with the philosophy that given the training and opportunity, the child next door could grow up to be anything they wanted, including a dancer in any major professional ballet company. The company’s vision is to build an ever-strong artistic base for Berks Ballet Theatre; to establish more scholarship opportunities for serious students of dance; to identify additional cooperative performance opportunities with other groups in the community; and to create greater public awareness and appreciation for the art of dance. Berks Ballet Theatre has performed and continues to perform for many local organizations including Reading Pops Orchestra, Reading Symphony Orchestra, Berks Arts, BCTV, West Reading’s Art on the Avenue, Exeter Festival of Lights & West Reading Tree Lighting. The company’s annual production of The Nutcracker has been a holiday tradition for more than 40 years as well as the other performances produced throughout the season. From 1991-2016 BBT was a member of Regional Dance America/ Northeast and performed all over the Northeastern USA & Canada. BBT dancers have gone on to work professionally with Richmond Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, Ballet Theatre of Annapolis, The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, Ballet North Texas, and Broadway national Tours. BBT’s studios are within The GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, located in downtown Reading. Full of artists of every venue, BBT dancers have beautiful state of the art studios to dance in, plus this beautiful art facility brings new exposure and community support to the company.

Bucks County School of the Performing Arts

The Dance Company at the Bucks County School of the Performing Arts was developed to create a positive environment where dancers can grow as performers and teammates, as well as increase their self-esteem, self-discipline, and develop a genuine respect for dance as an art form. The BCPA Dance Company has been the proud recipient of the “Ballet Technique”, “Outstanding Choreography”, and “Best Director” awards at various regional dance competitions, and have been nominated for several Industry Dance Awards. We are so happy to be returning the Philadelphia Youth Dance Fest!

Dance 360, established in 2007, is owned and directed by Tracy and Tim Latini. Dance 360 offers programs for students of all ages and abilities. Located in Willow Grove PA, we welcome students from all surrounding areas. At Dance 360, our highly trained teachers and assistants are dedicated to bringing out the best in each student. Their mission is to utilize the art of dance to teach students positive skills that will last a lifetime. The Company dancers are serious about their dance training and have truly developed an understanding of what dedication, hard work, and discipline are all about. Dance One Studios Contemporary Ballet Theater

This pre-professional company explores a fusion of classical ballet and modern dance. Our mission as a company is to provide young artists with a diverse dance education and cultivate a safe space to explore, create, and challenge each other while simultaneously supporting one another. DOCBT has performed throughout the Tri-County area, as well as, at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
Dance Works

The Dance Works Elite group was established to provide extra performance opportunities for dancers seeking more than their regular classes provide. These works are developed in a limited rehearsal process and presented throughout the tristate area. We strive to train well-rounded, technically sound dancers who are choreographically versatile and good human beings. We are thrilled to be participating in our 3rd Philadelphia Youth Dance Festival.
Delaware Ballet

Delaware Ballet is central Delaware’s premier student ballet company, funded by individual and corporate donors and contributions by Delaware State University. Delaware Ballet began as Delaware Regional Ballet Company, founded by Marion Tracy in the 1970s. The shortened name was adopted in 1991 when Daniel Kaiser, former soloist with Pennsylvania Ballet, took the helm as Artistic Director. As an independent, non-profit company, Delaware Ballet strives to continue its history of excellence and leadership in the local dance community. It is the mission of the company to provide residents of Kent County and its surrounding areas with access to high quality classical and contemporary ballet performances, aiming to share the dancers’ passion and the gift of dance with the broadest possible audience. Current Artistic Director, Brittany Faulkingham, and the Board of Directors work together to continually take the company to new heights. In addition to the company’s annual production of The Nutcracker, they present a full-length ballet each spring and attend numerous dance festivals each year. Delaware Ballet is proud to broaden its horizon as a member company of Regional Dance America Northeast. Delaware Ballet hopes to provide each of its company members with an invaluable dance education and experience that, whether they choose dance as a profession or not, will follow and serve them.
Delaware Valley Dance Academy

Delaware Valley Dance Academy offers the finest dance training in an encouraging and professional atmosphere. Our classes are designed to take students from their first introduction of dance to a full and varied course of dance training. An emphasis is placed on proper body placement and lines. We stress the importance of musicality and the joy of artistic expression. We have an enthusiastic staff of professionally experienced teachers supplemented by visiting guest teachers. A close working partnership between student and teacher is an important aspect of our program. Whether in pursuit of a professional dance career or simply to derive the joys and physical benefits of dance class, our students enjoy the highest quality of classes in a warm and nurturing environment. Delaware Valley Dance Academy students have been accepted and received scholarships to such prestigious summer programs as the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts, American Ballet Theater, North Carolina School of the Arts, Princeton Ballet School, and South Carolina Summer Dance Conservatory. Our graduates have been accepted to attend some of the finest collegiate dance programs in the country including the Ohio State University, University of Michigan, SUNY Purchase & University of the Arts.
Evolution Dance Company/Valverde School of Performing Arts

Evolution Dance Company from the Valverde School of Performing Arts in Rancho Cucamonga, California was established in September 2019. Evolution was formed to prepare advanced dancers for Collegiate Dance Programs or Professional Companies, to continue in their pursuit of improving their technical and performance skills, and to give dancers opportunities to explore movement through personal choreography and repertoire with Artists in Residence. Evolution Company members study Ballet, Contemporary, Modern/Classical Modern, Improv/Choreography, Dance & Media, Health & Wellness, and Repertoire. Evolution has presented work in the CDEA Festival, Bailando in Corpus Cristi, Reflection Showcase, the Orange County Dance Festival. Evolution is excited to return to the Philadelphia Youth Dance Festival for a second year.
Freestyle Dance Academy

Freestyle Dance Academy is routinely voted among the Best of Bucks County for Dance in 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018. Dance classes are offered in various dance styles including: hip-hop, jazz, breaking (“breakdancing”), musical theatre, lyrical/contemporary, tap, and more. FDA provides high-quality dance education, with professional dance staff, to the Warrington, Chalfont & Doylestown communities. Freestyle Dance Academy is a place for both the recreational, and serious pre-professional dancer, offering different class tracks & opportunities to students, based upon their personal interest in dance. Freestyle Dance Academy also is home to the FDA Company, which is a public performance company. Past credits include: Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Union, Seacrest Studios, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Alex's Lemonade, Temple University and more.
Fusia Dance Company

Celebrating its fourteenth season, FuSia Dance Company represents dance in the Monroe County for aspiring dancers who seek the pre-professional experience of life as a performer. The company strives to bring to audiences the fusion of dance genres and universal cultures. Art, poetry, and multimedia are other mediums used by the company to further explore the unity of all art and expression while developing strong artists and technicians. The 501 c(3) company prides itself on serving the local community in many educational dance forms including local benefits, school assemblies and community festivals. Dancers spend much time performing within and throughout the tri-state area while working alongside many leading dance professionals including Fusia’s affiliate professional company, Drye/Marinaro Dance. FuSia is currently based out of Stroudsburg, PA at its home FuSia Dance Center. The company will be hosting a summer dance intensive for students ages 6+ giving them the opportunity to work with local and regional teachers and choreographers. The Jefferson High School Charisma Dance Ensemble is an auditioned group of technically trained and naturally skilled dancers that perform a variety of styles and dance works at school, local, regional, state and national events. Charisma has performed at the Regional High School Dance Festival in Norfolk, Virginia and has had the honor of being selected to perform at the West Virginia Department of Education's Arts Alive Premiere of the Arts for the past 10 years. The Jefferson High School Charisma Dance Ensemble is directed by Christa Crawford and led by seniors and Charisma leadership members Maggie Rolfe and Isabella Runion.

Kathak dance collective (KDC) is a South Asian performing arts organization founded by Deepa Devasena with an intent to nurture the development & interactions with Indian dance forms. KDC has earned an unparalleled reputation for large scale productions, collaborative work with international musicians and local artists alike, to bring the experience of live dance & music experience to a global platform. KDC takes pride in its continued efforts dedicated to building an Indian dance community across a dozen US states and providing highest caliber of artistic education through short term and long-term training programs which are designed to develop movement awareness and evolution of Indian classical arts.
Kimberton Dance Academy Performance Company

KDAPC is the performance company of Kimberton Dance Academy's group of dedicated, advanced dancers. The Company performs every year in numerous dance festivals, community events, and charity functions throughout the tri-state area. Kimberton Dance Academy (KDA) was established in 2012 in Phoenixville, PA, as a school for children, teens, and adults to learn, love, and appreciate the art of dance. Offering a varied dance program for all levels of interest and ages, KDA’s mission is high quality dance education in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere. KDA prides itself on being a training facility for all dancers, whether as a pre-professional stepping stone or a recreational outlet. Korean School of Southern New Jersey

The Korean School of Southern New Jersey ("KSSNJ") is a non-profit, educational, and cultural organization. We are dedicated to teach the Korean cultural heritage and share it with the local American society. KSSNJ has been recognized with countless awards through the efforts of our professional teachers, administrators, and more than 150 of our students.
Koresh Youth Ensemble

The Koresh Youth Ensemble was formed in the fall of 2008 to give gifted, young dancers more intensive dance training and greater performance opportunities. Students who demonstrate both the talent and desire to become professionals are selected to join the group. The ensemble allows young dancers the chance to show their commitment to dance and strive for excellence in performance, under the direction of some of the most highly respected teachers and choreographers in Philadelphia. Melissa Rector, assistant artistic director of Koresh Dance Company, oversees the ensemble, teaching and rehearsing with them on a weekly basis. Students also have the opportunity to work with other instructors throughout the year as they prepare for various performances. In the past, they have performed choreography by Roni Koresh, Melissa Rector, Shannon Murphy, Sammy Reyes, Eric Bean, Jr. and Cheryl Carson. Working with instructors from various disciplines allows them to become strong and versatile dancers. Members of the ensemble have gone on to study at Boston Conservatory, SUNY Purchase, Point Park University, Marymount Manhattan College, La Escuela Profesional de Danza de Mazatlan, Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, The University of the Arts, North Carolina School of the Arts and San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, among others. Through dance classes, rehearsals and performance, the Koresh Youth Ensemble gives dancers the necessary tools and experiences to become professional dancers.
Longwood Dance Company

Longwood Dance Company was established in 2000 to offer pre-professional training and performance opportunities for young dancers. Company members participate in workshops, intensives, community events, and festivals throughout the tri-state area. Last summer, members traveled cross-country to perform at Universal Studios and the International Performance Boards. In addition, dancers participate in service projects throughout the community.
Mid Maryland Performing Art Center

The Mid Maryland Performing Art Center’s (MMPAC) mission is to instill a lifelong love and appreciation of the arts for dancers of all ages, abilities, and passions. FX is the Mid Maryland Performing Art Center’s resident student repertory company. Reserved for MMPAC’s most dedicated and serious students, FX members maintain a rigorous dance schedule; training in a variety of styles and genres, as well as, attend weekly repertory rehearsals. Dancers gain pre-professional, real-world experience by attending master classes, conventions, dance festivals, and participating in performances, both, local and abroad. As ambassadors of the studio, FX company members are expected to uphold the standards of MMPAC and to model discipline, respect, and a positive attitude. In addition to training and performing, FX dancers participate in multiple outreach programs and events giving back to their community.
Philadelphia Dance Conservatory

Altynay Mazhikeyeva is a professional ballerina, instructor and choreographer with almost 35 years of experience. Altynay graduated from Ballet Academy in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan. Throughout her career she performed in renowned theaters and ballet companies of Russia, such as Bolshoi Theater and theater of Nemirovich-Damchenko. She worked with many acclaimed ballet instructors and dancers such as Asaf Messerer, Nina Timofeeva, and Galina Ulanova. In her repertoire were leading parts in well known ballets, among them “Swan Lake”, “The Nutcracker”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Carmen”, “Paquita”, “Don Quixote”, and “Giselle”. She performed on the stages of 22 countries. Altynay opened Philadelphia dance conservatory in 2002. Over her 18 year of experience in America she has taught and still shares her experience and knowledge with children who love, understand, and want to touch such graceful, beautiful and delicate art as Ballet.

Philadelphia Dance Theatre distinguishes itself by providing a premier venue for young dancers to authentically experience the world of dance, and presenting high-caliber performances that are accessible to it’s community. Philadelphia Dance Theatre offers a repertoire that is diverse in range: from the classical to contemporary, which includes full-length and short works.
Philadelphia Dance Theatre has performed by invitations at Esther’s Aid (Albany, NY), Symphony Space (New York, NY), and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The company’s outreach programs include: Boys Tuition Free Program, and has developed partnerships with Silver Springs Orphanage, St. Mary’s Home for Children, and VetTix.Org, including on site performances for the aging and those suffering from mental illness. PDT is deeply proud of it’s exceptionally dedicated students, many of whom have been awarded scholarships into some of the countries finest professional programs and universities. Alumni have gone onto careers in a diverse range within the industry including professional ballet companies, modern and contemporary companies, Broadway, arts management, dance movement therapy, nutrition, and commercial venues. Poético Dance Collective

Founded in the summer of 2019, Poético Dance Collective is a performing group of Philadelphia-based artists, a space for creative expression, and a platform for social change. Poético Youth Dancers, formed in 2020, provides performance opportunities for young dancers and exposure to the broader Philadelphia dance community. Poético involves mixed media, visual arts, and musical composition in collaboration with dance in all its forms, and explores different spaces for uniting audiences and community members. Pottstown Dance Theatre Repertory Ensemble

Pottstown Dance Theatre Repertory Ensemble was founded in 2012 by Artistic Director, Michelle Jones Wurtz. We have performed at the Hill School Center for the Arts, Pottstown High School, Kaleidoscope Center for Performing Arts, The Painted Bride Art Center, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and most notably London during the 2012 Olympic Games. We are currently preparing for the 2024 Paris Olympics and are happy to be here at the Philadelphia Youth Dance Festival.
Providence Creek Ballet Theater

Providence Creek Ballet Theater began in 2004, at Providence Creek Academy in Clayton, DE, under the Artistic Director, Dr. Lydia Creasy Cooper. This introductory, after-school ballet program grew by 2008 to offer classes in various dance genres and ranged in levels from Creative Movement through Performance Company. PCBT's curriculum maintains a central focus on classical ballet technique while now encompassing tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and tumbling. Started in 2011, PCBT's Summer Intensive Program has grown to include multiple Guest Artists, a choreography workshop, and a Showcase performance.
2011 also introduced a new Artistic Director, Stephanie Artigliere, to PCBT. Her vision of supporting PCBT's dancers beyond the walls of the studio continues to flourish. In addition to PCBT's annual Summer Concert, they have also performed full-length ballets including Peter and the Wolf, Snow White, and Winter Suites. March 2012 marked PCBT's debut performance at Delaware Dance Festival which is attended by numerous dance studios from Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Additionally, PCBT joined in the holiday tradition of The Nutcracker, performed annually since 2013.
PCBT's dancers have performed commissioned works by award winning choreographers including Danielle Guillermo, Christine Aumiller, and Victoria Silva. PCBT students have been awarded numerous DDF scholarships, accepted into Delaware's renowned Cab Calloway School of the Arts, and attended various summer programs nationally. In June 2016, PCBT was evaluated and accepted into the prestigious Regional Dance America/Northeast as an Intern Company. In 2018, PCBT was accepted into the organization as a Full Performing Company. PCBT looks forward to returning to DDF, PYDF, and RDA/NE Festivals in 2020.

In June 2016, PCBT was evaluated and accepted into the prestigious Regional Dance America/Northeast as an Intern Company. In 2018, PCBT was accepted into the organization as a Full Performing Company. PCBT looks forward to returning to DDF, PYDF, and RDA/NE Festivals in 2020.
Sanskriti School of Dance

Sanskriti School of Dance, under the artistic leadership of Chitra Ramaswamy is amongst the upcoming, cultured treasured Indian dance companies in the United States. The company was founded in 2005 and is based in New Jersey. Sanskriti perpetuates India’s cultural heritage by teaching and performing Bharatanatyam. Our performing arts wing strives to expand the tradition’s expressive range through innovative programming and collaboration with other artists. The highly innovative work of Sanskriti offers profound and subtle expressions of humanity’s deepest questions and values in the context of our current day lives. Rooted in Bharatanatyam, one of the great classical dance forms of India, Sanskriti preserves and perpetuates Bharatanatyam in its entire classical rigor and moves the art form in innovative directions to foster cultural exchange through dance. Sanskriti’s contemporary interpretations incorporate dynamic body movement, rhythmic footwork, hand gestures, facial expressions, heart clinching music to convey meaning and emotion that create the Rasa, aesthetic experiences that spiritually transform audiences. Audiences and critics around the East coast have recognized the artistic excellence of Sanskriti. At the core of its mission, Sanskriti believes that Dance is another language and is a powerful mode of cultural exchange. Body can speak and minds can connect through visual imagery. Bharatanatyam is an art form that can depict any kind of theme, be it, traditional or contemporary. Dance is a form of yoga that cleanses not just your body but your mind too converting our mundane thoughts into creative and imaginative ones that can influence many souls Dance is truly a medium that has no borders if done wholeheartedly Our younger generation need to be made aware of this new language so they may feel the pleasure that we feel when we dance. We endorse the saying “We should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once” Watching others dance is a powerful way of learning. We at Sanskriti believe in nurturing this art form and making this a passion for our dancers to be able to cherish this art form for life and beyond.
Teresa Andris Dancers from The Bowman School of Dance

Teresa Andris Dancers is the resident dance company at The Bowman School of Dance. The group was created in 1983 by Teresa Andris for dancers with a serious interest in performing. The award winning Troupe has performed in a variety of venues in the tri- state area. They have appeared at The Arts Bank, Robin Hood Dell East, The Painted Bride Arts Center, The Drake, Waterfront Arts, The Tweeter Center, South Jersey Performing Arts Theater, The New Jersey State Aquarium, The Gorden Theater, The Tropicana & Taj Mahal Casinos, Rutgers University, Rowan University, Stockton University, Drexel University, local schools, civic events, charitable events, and many competitions. These well-trained dancers are uniquely Bowman; excelling in classical ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and musical theater. The company has performed at the LA based Hollywood Connection, The Pulse, The Tweeter Center Youth Festival, South Jersey Performs, The Young Dancer’s Association Benefit, The Cherry Hill Township Spring Festival, Urban Outfitters, with Dance Alloy, The Philadelphia Youth Dance Fest and at Disney World. The company won top honors at New York City Dance Alliance for Hairspray at Nationals and has appeared at Manhattan Dance Project , Broadway Dreams and the Philly Youth Dance Festival. Additional prestigious performance venues include Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center in NYC, Carnegie Hall in NYC and The Kennedy Center in Washington DC. ,The Kimmel Center, The Annenberg Center, The Mandell Theater, the Wells Fargo Center and the Academy of Music in Philadelphia . This year’s charity performances and our outreach efforts marked another successful season. Company alumni are recipients of numerous awards and scholarships including over a dozen NJ Governor School of the Arts participants, five Presidential Arts Scholarship awardees and dozens of summer intensive invitees. We are proud of our many dancers currently working and training in the “business” while they pursue Broadway & theater credits, professional ballet careers, private studio associations, and college degrees.

TDC Company, under the direction of Kim O’Connor-Sparks, is for the serious, more advanced students at Today’s Dance Center who would like to have the opportunity to perform on a regular basis. A student must audition for a spot in the Company. These students are very dedicated and study many hours each week, having a similar training experience to members of a professional dance company. Our mission is to participate in community outreach through performing at senior homes, medical centers, schools and other facilities that house individuals who would not otherwise be exposed to the art of dance. The company also performs in other events & venues across the US & Abroad. They have performed in NYC with the Project Dance annual event; Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines; Nassau Bahamas, Disney World, FL; Disneyland, CA; Six Flags-Great Adventure, NJ; Hershey Park, PA; Philly Fringe Festival, PA; DelAwareness, DE, Philly Phresh Crew’s Winter Jam, PA; Dancing for Life Dance Festival, PA; and The
International Dance Festival in LA where they were selected to represent the state of New Jersey and USA, along with numerous charitable events at malls, concerts, and dance festivals. The Company also participates in dance competitions and has won many outstanding and special awards for their technique,
performance and choreography. Student's of Today's Dance Company have gone on to appear in TV commercials, New York City Ballet, River North Dance Company, Broadway Theater, Charleston Ballet, Las Vegas, Disney World, Sesame Place, Hershey Park, and Disney Land, to mention a few. Students are now performing professionally in dance companies and on cruise ships all over the world. Many Graduates of Today's Dance Center are outstanding students and graduates of Colleges and Universities throughout the

UMDGC Youth Dancers of Upper Merion Dance & Gymnastics Center. LLC

UMDGC is located in King of Prussia, PA offering an artistic dance education to youth in Montgomery County since 2004. Providing a nurturing space for dancers to grow through dance training across genres with exposure to performance opportunities. Students are also encouraged to explore personal creativity and expression through their own choreography. Performing in this year's PYDF is UMDGC's Contemporary Performance Group under the direction of choreographer Mijka Smith.
Upper Main Line YMCA Dance Company
The Upper Main Line YMCA Dance Company is part of the Upper Main Line YMCA's extensive performing arts program, located in Berwyn, PA. The UMLY Performing Arts Company includes a community theater program and dance company. We are dedicated to teaching and training young performers in the arts. We create a safe and inclusive space, free of judgment or discrimination, where our dancers can be a part of a community. Our dance company participates in various outreach and community events through out the year, as well as participating in competitions and master classes.

Vedanta Dance Academy (VDA) is a highly reputed performing arts studio located in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. We specialize in an Indian classical dance form known as Bharatanatyam, as well as folk, fusion dance and Bollywood style. Founder and director of VDA, Firuzi Desai, has been teaching, choreographing and performing shows for over 20 years. VDA is known for technical excellence, professionalism and positive values. Our dance program is designed for children, youth and adults to fall in love with this art form. We believe in seeking excellence from all our students, appropriate to their age level and interest. Guru Firuzi Desai is committed to teaching a child by understanding each individual's unique learning style, personality, and processing ability. We, at VDA, believe in building self esteem, and confidence by encouraging and challenging students to accomplish their goals. VDA participates in several community shows and competitions throughout the year. And our talented group of dancers are known for their technical and emotive excellence on stage.
Villa Maria Dance Company

Villa Maria’s growing dance program includes a variety of courses and opportunities for both experienced and novice dancers. Students may take dance classes for credit to count towards Physical Education or Fine Arts requirements or electives. The Dance Company is an auditioned ensemble of dedicated dancers who benefit from multiple performance opportunities both on and off campus.
Visions Dance Company

Visions Dance Performance Company, based in Boyertown, PA is comprised of dedicated dancers exploring additional performance opportunities in all dance styles. Established in 2016, these dancers have since performed at the Gershwin Theater, Statue of Liberty, Cedar Crest, Hershey Park, Wing of Hope Benefit Concert, Arts in the Park, The Miller Center for the Arts, Disney World and numerous community events. VDPC strives to provide quality dance education to students both pre-professional and recreational, spreading the pure joy of dance to all.
