AN OPPORTUNITY TO OFFER A SCHOLARSHIP TO YOUR SUMMER PROGRAM
This year, PYDF is thrilled to be offering performance and master class opportunities to 42 different pre-professional dance companies and over 400 students from around the nation on March 18-21 and March 25-27 at Creative Edge Center for the Arts.
PYDF is pleased to, once again, be able to offer an opportunity for dancers to audition for scholarships to various summer programs at the 2022 Festival.

How the scholarship process works:
- After we have received notification of all the schools wishing to offer a scholarship, these opportunities will be announced to the students on our website.
- Each participating PYDF company will nominate 2 of their dancers based on financial need and availability to attend the one or more of the summer programs offered.
- The scholarship audition class will take place on the Saturday morning of each weekend (either 3/19 or 3/26).
- Scholarship class will be taught by PYDF's director Melissa Chisena and will consist of Contemporary, Jazz, Improvisation and an optional Ballet portion.
- We ask that a representative of your summer program attend the scholarship audition to select your awardees.
- If you are unable to send a representative to the audition, we are more than happy to select on your behalf.
- Scholarship recipients will be announced at the end of dress rehearsal each weekend.
