PYDF is excited to offer current Juniors in High School who are participating in PYDF 2024 the opportunity to audition for Drexel University’s Dance department at the Festival! The audition will be for Juniors who are interested in attending Drexel University beginning in fall of 2025. Please note, if a student is accepted to the Drexel Dance Department, this does not mean they are accepted to Drexel University. Students would still need to apply and officially be accepted to Drexel University. Participation in the audition is free for PYDF students, but students must register for the class by Monday, March 4th at 11:45pm.

Dancers wishing apply must attend the PYDF Ballet Class AND the PYDF Summer Scholarship Audition class on Friday, March 22nd:

• Ballet Class: March 22nd, 5:30-6:45 pm

  • Ballet Class will be taught by Jessica Kilpatrick. Pointe work will not be required.

• Scholarship Class: March 22nd, 7:00-8:15 pm

  • The PYDF Summer Scholarship Class will be taught by Melissa Chisena, and will consist of contemporary, jazz, ballet/pointe, and improvisation.
