COMPLETE TECH FORM

• Directors are required to complete the Tech Information Form and upload music file (within the tech form) by March 11th, 2024.

• You will upload your music file within the Tech Form. Please do not email your music file.

• Deadline for directors to nominate two of their dancers to participate in the PYDF Scholarship Class.

• Each company may nominate TWO of their dancers to participate in the summer scholarship class on Friday March 22nd.

• To nominate your dancers, simply share the link to the Scholarship Class Registration Form here and have them complete their form by March 11th.

• Dancers will have to review all of the scholarship offers, and indicate which programs they would like to be considered for.

• The audition class will consist of ballet/pointe, jazz, and contemporary phrases. A short tap portion will be held for any dancers auditioning for the Tap Intensive.

• Any dancers who have registered for the Drexel Dance Department Audition must also take the scholarship class. These dancers do not count towards your two nominated students, but they do need to fill out a scholarship registration form if they would like to be considered for other summer scholarships.

BALLET CLASS

Friday, March 22nd

5:30-6:45pm

Directors must register their dancers here

Registration will close when all spots have been filled.

• PYDF Directors may register their dancers for the Friday evening PYDF ballet class.

• Ballet Class will be held on March 22nd from 5:30-6:45 pm and will be taught by Jessica Kilpatrick. Pointe work will not be required

• The Ballet class is capped at 60 dancers.

• Companies may register as many dancers as they would like, and space will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

*Any dancers who have registered for the Drexel Dance Department Audition must take the ballet class, but DO NOT need to register for the ballet class. We already have accounted for those students.

CHAPERONE RELEASE FORM

All Chaperones who will be traveling with the dancers at Drexel University must fill out a Chaperone Release form by March 11th, 2024

Deadline to submit Summer Scholarship Offers

Through PYDF’s scholarship audition class, students have the opportunity to audition for scholarships to multiple summer programs at the same time without any additional charge.

If your company would like to offer a scholarship to your summer program please fill out our Scholarship Form.

Deadline for submissions is March 1st, 2024.

Participation Fees: to be submitted by the Companies

• Once your company has been notified of your selected piece, please submit payment for the total number of dancers in the piece ($85 per dancer).

• Companies are responsible for obtaining payment from all of their participating dancers and will pay PYDF the total amount via the payment form.

• Deadline for all payments is February 16th, 2024

Dancer Registration: to be completed by the dancers

• All dancers will complete their Dancer Registration Forms and submit them online no later than February 16th, 2024.

• Only dancers who will be performing are able to participate.

• Companies are responsible for communicating with their dancers and reminding them to fill out their registration forms

All companies wishing to participate in the PYDF 2024 Festival must submit a Company Application and pay their $50 Application Fee by November 1st, 2023.

Submit pieces to be reviewed for the Festival

• Submit pieces to be reviewed for the Festival 2024

• Companies may submit up to two pieces to be reviewed by PYDF

• Pieces must be under 5 minutes in length

• Companies will be informed of which piece has been selected by January 26th, 2024

• Once you have been notified of your selected piece, PYDF will invoice your company for the total number of dancers in the piece.

Complete Company Contract

All directors must complete and submit their company contract to confirm their participation the 2024 PYDF Festival by December 1st, 2023
