Trea Dipkin is a twenty-three-year-old Dance Artist, from San Francisco, CA, currently based in New York. Trea came to dance through various mediums of art. In her formative years she trained in competitive gymnastics, musical theater, acting, and tech/stage management, before committing her focus to dance. Trea was able to study at both the ODC School of Dance and Alonzo King LINES Ballet, from age fourteen to eighteen. During her time there, she trained with and performed works by Brenda Way, D Montalvo, Kimi Okada, KT Nelson, Maurya Kerr, and Carmen Rozestraten. Trea received a BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance from the Boston Conservatory, with training from faculty such as Kurt Douglas, Ginnai DiMarco, Ruka Hatua-Saar White, Russell Clarke, Jun Kuribayashi, Jim Viera, Marcus Schulkind and more. She has gotten the opportunity to perform with the Boston Pops Orchestra, participate in the Activate Artist Residency at the Boston Center for the Arts with Hybridmotion Dance Company, and has performed works by Doug Varone, Victor Quijada and more.
